A leader in humanitarian and volunteer work with a BA in Agricultural Engineering from the University of Jordan, He participated in many community and volunteer work, beginning with university activity in Jordan to activities of the Syrian community in Kuwait.
With the intensification of efforts at the beginning of 2011 AD, he worked to organize more than one event and conference, in addition to shedding light on the humanitarian situation in Syria, where he participated in founding and managing Ataa Association at the beginning of 2013.
He also had contributions in the field of civil and humanitarian work by participating in most of the activities of the Syrian civil society in Geneva conference to Brussels conferences.
In addition to being a member of the General Secretariat of the Syrian Networks League, Deputy Secretary General of the Orphans Care Union, Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Union of Civil Society Organizations, and a member of the guiding committee of the Voices of the Displaced Forum
The changing efforts led by Engineer Khaled Al-Issa in his capacity as Director General of Ataa Association led to a diversification of the fields of humanitarian intervention by increasing the number of development projects that were implemented in northern Syria and southern Turkey.
Thanks to his management, Ataa Association was able to use humanitarian projects in building displaced and host societies and improving the quality of services provided to them, and the association was keen to deliver humanitarian aid to millions of beneficiaries.
And he worked on increasing the field deployment of Ataa Association to reach eight offices in northern Syria, and three offices in southern Turkey, and he also worked on innovating and developing humanitarian work mechanisms in Ataa Association, which contributed to a high increase in resources and donations.
